How It Started

We deal with service provider everyday. So, we built one — and decided to share it with the world, (or Malaysian at least).

The idea behind views.com.my is to amplify the voice of the individual consumer and give them power. It's not just about being heard, it's also about being in control.

More than just a place to log complaints or praises about experiences with the large companies that have become part of everyone's day-to-day lives, views.com.my also gives consumers voice that will resonate on a local level with small mom and pop shops that can sometimes pay little attention to customer service or allow rude behavior by their employees.

We soon realized that great customer service wasn’t going to happen if we simply posted FAQs on our Web site and responded to repetitive e- mail requests with a library of stock answers. Thankfully, our best customers taught us a few things along the way, and we came to see our community of customers as our biggest strength. We wanted a place dedicated to answering these kinds of questions but no one seemed to offer a free, Web-based customer service system that incorporated a real community like ours.
